In preparation for Yom Kippur we also need to feel happy to motivate us to daven to HKB”H.
What or who makes you smile? Have you thanked them for all those wonderful times?
1. When any one of my kids displays extra-fine midos.(thank you, Hashem!)
2. Catching up on rent and paying every last bill.(getting there, thank you, Hashem!)
3. Cheering someone up.(I love making people laugh)
oy1…you’re so right. Thinking of my children and true friends definitely helped me through my Yom Kippur nisayon(see Doctor thread for details).
my happiest moment is motzei yom kippur. I just feel so accomplished and cleansed. And then the sukkos feeling is in the air and nothing could be happier.
I can’t really write what makes me really, truly happy here but I think it’s something most other women feel as well.
