do u thionk its good for bnei/bnos torah to post videos on youtube?? I think its wrong for many reasons and it can ruin shidduch opportunities down the line!!
depends what you are posting. if you are posting a nice picture slide show to a song, thats seems to be fine.
it’s the flip side of the coin that can ruin shidduchim. if it a video of bnei/bnos yisroel doing something inappropriate, then why are they putting it on in the first place? personally, i have an extreme dislike to the youtube videos of yeshiva bachrim spoofing jewish songs and making fools of themselves. they dont have to sit and learn 24/7 but there is no reason to shout to the world that you are in yeshiva and this is what you do.
no i don’t think it’s good at all. frum people are supposed to be private and not exposing their lives to everyone all over the world that can view it. and most of the world thinks negatively of us anyway y make them think worse of us- if something is taken the wrong way.
So, if I make a slideshow of my photography and post it on YouTube, that disqualifies me as a Ben Torah?
