You are all the friends I have, thank you!
oyy. the only friends you have are friends you havent met???
Your welcome! May it serve you well.
This is not the place for friends. There’s more conflict here than there is comraderie. Find a shul or beis medrash to make new friends
Dear Shimon,
Finding a shul with more camaraderie the conflict is a taller task!
I really think it depends on the posters personality. Some people like to argue/rant/spew and enjoy the opportunity to do so anonymously.
I personally have met several people thru this forum who I am still in touch with more than 6 years later. I don’t know all their identities but they are people I would never have met otherwise.
I met someone from this site for lunch. He brought his copy of that morning’s New York Times (which was his bible, lhavdil) and I showed him all the lies in any story of his choosing.
He went home a convert (to real Yiddishkeit.)
@AJMRbro we went to Bais Medrash together
I’m a totally asocial person in real life also
CA: asocial is the opposite of social; meaning you’re avoiding social interaction.
Oh, wait, that wasn’t a typo of a missing space and you actually meant asocial? NM. I skim too quickly, sometimes.
Mesorah, that’s funny! But seriously, maybe find another shul
👍
