Why did YWN remove the article about South Korea and someone being nice to his employee? Is there anywhere I can find it and read it?December 5, 2016 2:20 pm at 2:20 pm #1196882MenoParticipant
They were probably pressured by North KoreaDecember 5, 2016 2:40 pm at 2:40 pm #1196883Lilmod UlelamaidParticipant
I guess that explains why the person I sent the link to couldn’t find it. I was wondering – thought I must have put it in wrong.December 5, 2016 2:48 pm at 2:48 pm #1196884ubiquitinParticipant

If it was removed, there was probably a good reason, and you should probably not try to find it, imho.December 5, 2016 5:41 pm at 5:41 pm #1196888
A “google” search of werdiger+joon will give you links to where the story is still available online.December 5, 2016 7:21 pm at 7:21 pm #1196889takahmamashParticipant

It’s on the wayback machine.

The YWN article stated:December 5, 2016 9:05 pm at 9:05 pm #1196891
The story was told at the Agudah Convention by Rabbi Paysach Krohn and confirmed by Mr. Werdiger who is the Chairman of the Board of the Agudah. I have not seen any article that refutes this story but would be interested if someone can point out where I would find such articles.December 5, 2016 10:02 pm at 10:02 pm #1196892
Possibly Mr Werdiger doesn’t want this type of attentionDecember 5, 2016 10:16 pm at 10:16 pm #1196893
I found this on another website:
Mr. Werdiger told me that the story is absolutely true! He said the reason why he had YWN take the story down is because some in Korea were upset to learn what Mr. Joon had done and that it might affect Mr. Joon’s career in the future. (Mr. Joon is returning to Korea soon.)December 6, 2016 5:27 am at 5:27 am #1196894LightbriteParticipant
