I am a nurse and have seen patients who have donated kidneys. There are definitely restrictions and lifestyle changes put on someone once they donate a kidney. Before someone would donate a kidney I would advise them to speak to their doctor, who knows them medically.
allnighterParticipantYou don’t need to go to a doctor before you get compression stockings. Most nurses wear them, and we all buy them from scrub stores. You don’t need to get them measured or anything.
allnighterParticipantAny scrub store has good compression stockings. You can also by them on-line from Lydias (scrub store). They are the only ones that really work, because they are made for people in the medical profession who stand on their feet all day or night long!
