Stay home and get out of the fights. It�s a crazy country that is all confused about what it means to be a Jew and how to figure out what hashem wants from us. Either leave the country to be safe or do your thing and don�t get involved and stay safe. Anyone with any common sense knows the answers but most people just want their fame and fortune right now and aren�t really interested in what�s best for the people. It�s really simple, learning Torah is an acceptable job, and being prepared if you can�t learn full time to get a job is also ok. Each person has to know himself what works for him. You want to join an army where some guy will tell you to go on a mission and die – I think it�s pretty stupid as you only have your life – but if you give your life and everything else over to the secular government then what do you expect? Basics really.
