    in reply to: Licorice/Twizzler #721319

Who is opening the one by PathMark, what will it be called, and what type of grocery? (Kollel, upscale, etc…)

in reply to: Why type of car do you have? #714225

to smartcookie: I park them in my driveway. My daughter is out of town in college so her car is not usually there and my other cars i park in the driveway

in reply to: Why type of car do you have? #714216

I have 6 cars which are leased.

2 are mine, one is a 2011 Range Rover Sport which I regularly use, the other one is a 2011 Audi A8 which I use usually only for work because its easier for parking.

Another one is my wifes which is a 2011 Audi Q7

    .

Another one is my 21 y/o sons which is a 2009 BMW 750LI Sedan. Don’t worry I don’t pay for the whole thing.

Another one is my 19 y/o daughters which is a 2010 650I convertible.

Don’t worry I don’t pay for the whole thing.

And then we have the 2008 Cadillac Escalade ESV for when we go somewhere with the whole family.

Mikes Bistro in Manhattan is ultra amazing!!

In Teaneck Mabat is amazing and ETC Steakhouse.

Also, Jose it doesn’t look like that restaurant is kosher with meat and cheese on the menu.

It’s not that i’m unhappy that he’s in jail but U.S. really can’t do much about it.

in reply to: Gilad Shalit #687448

Gilad Shalit has nothing to do with America. Pollard for example is sitting in jail on American soil so people are pressuring the white house to let him out and let him go back to Israel. However the United States has nothing to do with Gilad Shalit.

in reply to: Tipping Camp Waiters #687475

In some camps the waiters pay 60% of what a regular campers tuition is because they have to be fed, they go on trips, they go out in the mountains (shop-rite, bowling) etc… It all costs money for the camp!

in reply to: Tipping Camp Waiters #687464

The waiters work extremely hard and even if your son/daughter didn’t think the waiter was good he/she still worked hard maybe not as hard as everyone else and some sort of tip should be given. In some camps tips are mandatory.

in reply to: Camp Rayim 2010 #816846

For more info about the camp go to Camprayim.us

It is an unofficial site ran by a rayim staff member and has nothing to do with the administration but it has alot of things about camp there.

in reply to: Camp Rayim 2010 #816845

    TO: BP Totty:

I work in Rayim and went as a camper.

For high school boys you can work in regular Rayim or you can go as a camper to Rayim Mesivta.

Rayim Mesivta has almost nothing to do with regular Rayim.

Besides the staff most kids where polo shirt, t-shirts etc… the whole day even to davening.

Staff have to where button down collared shirts to davening & campers can’t wear crocs or caps to davening or learning groups.

If you think regular Rayim is yeshivish white shirters you don’t know anything about Rayim.

To all those who don’t know Rayim is going into either there 21st or 22nd year in camping.

It used to be Camp Olympus in the 80’s.

For fast food in Brooklyn: Schnitzel King is the best, its not expensive either. They have amazing schnitzel, shwarma and burgeres. For approximately $10.00, you get almost any main dish you want, with any salad you want inside (they have good choices), a fries and a can, amazing deal.

I gotta try Subsational, I heard its good.

In Monsey-The best pizza is no question, Chai Pizza on 59 (they have good sushi too-they just got a new guy). *edited YW Moderator-39*

For Sushi & Steak: Sushi Metsuyan & KYO are both amazing, but KYO is a little more expensive.

For Chinese: Grand Bamboo on 59 is the best.

For Fast Food: There is no shayla its KC (Kosher Castle) on 59.

Bagel Stores: Eli’s Bagels is the best but they are a little too expensive for a bagel store. Fallsburg Bagels is next in line.

Ice Cream: I didn’t go to fruity shake since they changed to smoothie corner but before that it was for sure The Ice Cream Scoop on 59, my friends went to both and say The Ice Crean Scoop is better.

I went to J11 last night to get food for my family and I got very good pizza, but they have this new thing a Grandma slice, out of this world, but Benny’s still has better food. J11 has alot better service.

in reply to: What’s Your Favorite Restaurant In Town? #666676

I don’t live in Brooklyn and I was in Flatbush for shabbos, and erev shabbos I went to Benny’s pizza (there is more than one of them in Brooklyn) and I had the best whole wheat slice I have ever tasted in my entire life.
