It’s been such a long while since the last post on the Stanley Miller Band…there are even grandchildren of the couples who were married off..but take heed, perhaps in the near future, there will be some music released so that we can relive those heilig days

Yes, the Stanley Miller Band did indeed issue 3 albums during their career.
The band consisted of 6 musicians, 5 of them playing for 13 years together. That’s one reason there was a bit of magic in their music….they could literally (and actually did) play in their sleep…but, rarely played the music they did the same. They would constantly improvise on stage…but, that said, their main purpose was to be misameach the chosson and the kallah, and, I will bet most if not all will say they did.
Stanley (Simcha) would play his flute while jumping rope for the new couples….I saw that on numerous occasions. He was (and still IS) a superb flautist and is one of the best saxophone players I’ve ever hear.
The band would gyrate in step with the people on the dance floor.
There were many good chassunah bands during these years, but, there was only one Stanley Miller band.

They released 3 albums on vinyl, none of which were ever released any other way…which is a bit ironic as two members of the band were professional mastering engineers with thousand of CDs mastered. Hopefully, sometime in the future, this will be remedied.

    Much more to say…maybe later.

    Have a great Shabbos everyone!
