Can anyone give me the phone number of the current eim habayis of Mesoras Rochel? Last night at midnight I had a phone call from a girl from that seminary asking to be hosted for Shabbos. I found that to be so rude and unacceptable, I think the girls should be told when is Ok to call (until 10, no later). Especially as I have a family member in a dangerous matzev at the moment, this scared the living daylights out of me.

My current serial/book is about Yael Reed in jail. Keep up at the back.
Why did we violate the law by posting our email address?
Anyway. I’m bowing out of this thread. It’s getting unpleasant. I only joined it to say hi and be friendly to everyone after I saw the original post. I’m not enjoying it any more, so I’ll bid you all farewell, and thanks for reading my books!

    Ruthie Pearlman.

Yael is a poor struggling PI. Of course money!

Ruthie Pearlman doesn’t really exist. She’s a fictional character created by Yael Reed.

Thanks everyone. I’m glad I have proved I am me. I was beginning to doubt I was me myself! 😀

Arielski, sorry about your sprained ankle but hope reading my books has helped pass the time. Did you get my books as eBooks as the books you mention are largely out of print.

I have received nothing. And anyway, as my husband pointed out, you needn’t put any money in my paypal account. All you need to do is to email my genuine email address (which you can confirm on my website http://www.ruthiepearlman.com) which is [email protected] and if I am me, I will reply to your email. Now stop this silliness please.

I’ve got a great idea how to prove I am who I say I am. Put an undisclosed but large sum of money into my paypal account at [email protected] and I’ll acknowledge the amount on here. Would that work for you? It must be larger than $100 though 😛

That’s stupid. Yael Reed is a fictional character. How would providing information about her that wasn’t in any of my books prove my credibility? I could say anything and you wouldn’t have any way of knowing if that made me real or not. Anyway, I don’t feel I have to prove anything to you. If you don’t believe I am who I say I am, that’s fine with me.

It would make more sense if I provided information about Ruthie Pearlman, ie me, that no one who wasn’t me, would know. But then again, how would you know if it was true or not? It’s plain stupid.

    Yael Reed, not Yarl!

I always write for a general audience, not for YA’s. All ages can enjoy my books and I hope they do!

    Thank you for buying Foundling!

I find this highly amusing. What proof would you like? I’m not THAT famous that I’d pretend to be me if I wasn’t me, if you get my meaning LOL. It’s not exactly JK Rowling coming on here and saying hi! It’s only Ruthie Pearlman.

<3 Thank you! I’d really appreciate it if you could possibly put up a review?

But I’m not really complaining…except that in the UK, where I used to live before making aliya three years ago, a public library wasn’t allowed to purchase new books until the author had a chance to sell them for six months. That, I felt, was fair. In Jewish libraries however, books can be purchased brand new. It’s a minor gripe of mine as an author. That’s it! whinge over!

Thanks for buying Dark Tapestry!! Can I ask where you found it? I thought it was out of print ages ago.

As to the library, of course the library buys a couple of copies of any book, then if hundreds borrow it..well, do the math 🙂 😛

🙂 Ruthie Pearlman here. Yes, the Yael Reed series of books is School of Secrets, Lockdown, Disappeared, Whispers, and Foundling. The next one, Target, is in pre-production. An Ordinary Wednesday is a standalone book, not part of the series.

Thank you so much for your interest in my books, even though borrowing from the library will not make me any money LOL. Don’t worry, I’m happy that people enjoy them. My website is ruthiepearlman.com and from there you can link to Amazon to read all of my out-of-print books in eBook format. Two of my books, Disappeared, and An Ordinary Wednesday, are also in audio book format and can be obtained from mostlymusic.

    Thanks! Keep in touch!
