Health, what makes you think that people looking into surgery did not already try to diet for years and years and only decided to look into surgery once they saw that nothing else works for them?

I was wondering, anyone here did it more than a year ago?

I heard that for the first year the weight falls off more or less as imagined.. but the challenege is after that, to keep it up…has anyone had experience with this?

how long does it take from when you decide to go ahead with the surgery until you do it?

Any info about nursing after having the surgery done?

Also, if the stomach can stretch and you can gain back the weight, what makes this permanent?

I am considering it.

Being though that this surgery is not being done for too long yet I am concerned about the long term affects it can have.

Do you know anyone who has done it already a few years ago?
