DOUBLE TRAGEDY: Two Chareidi Brothers Killed in Motorcycle Accident Near Elad


Two Chareidi men in their thirties were R”L killed in a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday afternoon on Highway 444 near the city of Elad.

The accident involved a truck and a motorcycle. Emergency medical service personnel who arrived at the scene found two people without signs of life. Zaka volunteers arrived to deal with Kavod Hames, and police closed off the road in both directions and opened an investigation into the incident.

The two men were identified as Meir Chaim Lavi (27) and Nissim Shalom Lavi (19), brothers who lived in Rosh Ha’ayin. Their Father, Rabbi Yaron Lavi moved the family to Rosh Ha’Ayin from Elad last year and opened a shul where he works in Kiruv.

Magen David Adom EMT Saar Shai reported from the scene that: “This was a very serious accident. When we arrived we saw a truck standing on the highway next to a motorcycle. There were two riders of the motorcycle who were on the ground unconscious. The two riders were both in traumatic arrest.”

Yizhar Ohayan a volunteer with United Hatzalah said: “The accident involved a motorcycle with two riders on it and a semi-trailer truck. The two riders of the motorcycle were pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of wounds that they suffered.”

    the truth is that whenever a yid is killed it is beyond belief sad and horrific for the family.
    why in the world would you mention this now?
