YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of Sergey Gabinsky Z”L (Yaakov ben Asher), who passed away from injuries sustained at the fire last week at 1256 East 13th Street just off of Avenue M in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn. He was 65.
As YWN reported last week, he was rushed by Flatbush Hatzolah to the burn unit at Staten Island University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, suffering from serious burns and smoke inhalation.
The Levaya was held on Sunday morning at Lisovetsky Memorial Home and Kevura on Sunday at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
