An 15-month-old child died in the Southern Hebron Hills community of Shima early Friday afternoon, 10 Adar I. The child’s mother found the child got into a pail of water and summoned EMS but life-saving efforts were unsuccessful. MDA EMTs and paramedics tried to resuscitate the child without success.

The child’s father was notified while out of the country and was heading home before Shabbos.
