Manchester, UK: Five Children Injured In Fire In Jewish Community [VIDEO & PHOTOS]


Five children were taken to the hospital on Sunday afternoon, after a fire broke out in a home in a house in Salford, Manchester.

The fire started at around 1:30PM in a residential home on Wellington Street East, in the heart of the Frum Community.

The Greater Manchester Fire Department says that three children were rescued from the house by firefighting cres.

Three others escaped the fire prior to the arrival of the fire department.

Hatzola and the North West Ambulance Service were on the scene treating the victims. They were all in stable condition.

  1. Just to clarify: there are also non-Jewish neighbors living in the frum area and that’s where the fire happened.
    The pictures look quite dramatic but fortunately it was more smoke and noise than anything serious and injuries appear to have been minor.

  2. it would have been better had YWN added to the above that the house belongs to a coloured non-Jewish man who harasses his neighbours, and not make it sound as if a Yiddisher house was chalila burnt
