A 23-year-old Los Angeles man was in custody today on suspicion of luring a 7-year-old girl into a secluded area of a Sherman Oaks Shul and assaulting her on Simchas Torah afternoon. The man was known to frequent Chabad of Sherman Oaks. The suspect was taken into custody�and was booked at the Van Nuys jail on suspicion of felony kidnapping and was being held in lieu of $600,000 bail.
