7:30PM EST: SECOND HATE CRIME TO STRIKE FRUM NEIGHBORHOODS IN ONE HOUR: Crown Heights Shomrim tells YWN that the NYPD Hate Crimes detectives are currently on the scene investigating a hate crime in the Lubavitch community of Crown Heights. Swastikas were found by Shomrim units painted on a car in front of 447 Troy Avenue, and called the NYPD 71st Pct – and the Hate Crimes unit to respond.
This is the second hate crime to hit the Brooklyn Jewish communities at approximately the same time. YWN had previously reported (HERE), that a swastika and anti-Semitic slurs were found on a car in Williamsburg approximately 45 minutes ago (6:00PM EST). It is unknown if these two crimes are related.

Why don’t we set up cameras in our neighborhoods? We have nothing to hide but, others who come into the community do?
I believe we should do this in every frum community. You would be surprised how crime would go down……
For those of you who hate Medinas Yisroel, please bear in mind: If ever, CHAS V’SHALOM, we would have to escape this country, Israel would welcome us with open arms. Had we had a country “of our own” 60 yrs ago, perhaps 6 million Kedoshim would not have been wiped off the face of the earth. Don’t get me wrong – I hate the govt as much as the next guy, but I consider ERETZ YISROEL our home. That being said, I firmly believe that every Jew should possess a passport. Don’t believe that what happened in Germany could never happen here, R’L.
