TWO BRONX INFERNOS: 7-Alarm Inferno Tears Through Apt Building; 3 Alarm Fire Rips Through Private Home

Fire officials say six people were injured – including five firefighters and a baby – in a fast-moving fire in the Concourse Village section of the Bronx.

The blaze broke out at 5:30AM at 225 McClellan Street and soon went to multiple alarms.

By 8:00AM, a seventh alarm had been struck.

The FDNY says all the injured are expected to survive.

The FDNY released drone footage that showed more than a dozen firefighters on the roof of the towering complex, white smoke drifting all around them.

It wasn’t immediately clear where the fire started, nor was a possible cause immediately available.

Meanwhile, earlier Monday morning, three people were injured, including two firefighters, after fire broke out just before 4:00AM at 806 Freeman St. in the Morrisania section of the Bronx.

The cause of the fire was not known.

  1. It’s the president’s polarizing attitude that is likely the cause. After all it didn’t happen in white neighborhoods.
I can hear AOC declare it already! DeBlasio is still asleep but he is sure to say it too. Nadler? Pelosi? C’mon Dems, bring it on!
