A violent robbery and a separate burglary kept Flatbush Shomrim and the NYPD busy overnight.
At approximately 11:30 p.m., three Hispanic males approached three Jewish victims, two men and one woman, and demanded money before repeatedly punching them in the face and head. The incident occurred on Ocean Avs and Ave J in the Flatbush area.
Flatbush Shomrim volunteers swiftly mobilized and located the suspects, one of whom was armed with a knife. The NYPD arrested all three individuals near Avenue I and East 17th Street.
In a separate incident at approximately 12:30AM, a burglar was caught inside a home on East 13th Street between Avenues R and S. The suspect was arrested by the NYPD with assistance from Flatbush Shomrim volunteers who responded within moments.
Excellent teamwork and coordination between Flatbush Shomrim and the NYPD led to the swift capture of all involved.
