BORO PARK: Two Yeshiva Bochrim Struck By Vehicles Within Minutes

Two separate accidents involving bochurim occurred within minutes of each other Friday morning in Borough Park, sending both victims to the hospital.

The first incident happened at 15th Avenue and 37th Street, where a bochur was struck by a vehicle. A school bus that was stopped nearby was not involved in the crash. Hatzolah paramedics transported the victim to Maimonides Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A short time later, a second accident occurred several blocks away at Avenue C and East 2nd Street. In that incident, another bochur riding a scooter was struck by a vehicle.

Hatzolah transported the second victim to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition.

  1. Scooters of all forms must cease existence. It’s not the first time I almost got knocked over by a boy riding his scooter with no regard for other people but he had to pass a bunch of people and with his scooter he can do it by knocking down others.
    I see them crossing the streets as though they own everything. Its Dangerous!!!

  2. It’s a miracle it doesn’t happen more often the way people stand in the street and jump through traffic in New York.
