A new poll finds that Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s approval rating among New York voters is the lowest it has been in his second term. But it’s still very high.
The Quinnipiac University survey finds that 64 percent of respondents approve of the way Bloomberg is handling his job. That’s down from 69 percent in January.
The mayor’s all time high was 75 percent in October of last year. The lowest he has rated throughout his seven years in office came in 2003, when just 31 percent approved of the job he was doing.
That low came as Bloomberg was raising taxes and fees to get through a moderate budget crunch. He also had outlawed smoking in bars and restaurants.

I see there are a lot of New Yorkers who share my sentiments exactly.
Big deal. Remember his approval ratings right after he took office? That was when he increased every single form of taxation that exists in New York City. A few months later what happened? He was the mayor everyone was fawning over. So in his third term he will again have high approval ratings 😉
u made a mistake in the headlines!! the media clearly says his ratings r high, not low
