Canada’s transport minister says Canada is banning all air cargo from Yemen.

Transport Minister Chuck Strahl said Monday the move was not prompted by any specific threat. He says it’s being done as a precaution to ensure Canadians are aware that air travel is safe. Canada’s decision comes as similar action is taken by other countries following the discovery of an elaborate mail-bomb plot that originated in Yemen.
