(From Baltimore Shomrim🙂 The Baltimore Police Department has reported a number of burglaries in our neighborhoods over the past couple of weeks. The thieves have gained entry by removing unsecured window air-conditioners or through unlocked doors or windows. In these warm weather months when it is natural to leave windows open and front doors ajar, please be extra careful to keep doors closed when you are not in the immediate vicinity and to lock windows if you are leaving your house.
Please remember to watch out and If you see anything unusual in your neighborhood, call 911 immediately.

The Shomrim are a true asset to the Baltimore Community. We are proud to have them as part of our law enforcement community.
Ummm, they aren’t law enforcement, remember? They are a group that have overstepped their bounds as a citizen watch group and chase kids through their neighborhoods just because the kids are black. Given history, how horrible is that? Maybe if they observed the laws of the road while driving, as well as their place when it comes to crime scenes, they would have a little bit of respect. Why don’t you ask them about the closed door meetings about members of the community? Or ask their chief member what he used to do on menlo drive as a kid???
