(Click on the image to watch a video!) The residents of the Catskills have recently been blessed with the placement of a Medevac at Catskill Regional Medical Center. The chopper is used multiple times daily – to transport patients to various medical facilities. Catskills Hatzolah has made use of this chopper dozens of times throughout the summer. The helicopter has a few-minute response time to anywhere in the Catskills – and alleviates the extended wait time for choppers coming from other areas.

(This video was taken on Friday 8/17/07. Hatzolah had called for Lifenet 75 to transport a patient who had fallen, and had serious fractures and head trauma. The landing-zone was at the Monticello High School – and the Monticello Fire Department responded to secure the area prior to landing. Just moments after landing, the patient was transferred from the waiting ambulance to the chopper.)
