Machpelah House Residents Establish a Protest Tent

The residents of the Machpelah House, who were evacuated on Wednesday by Israeli forces, today, 13 Nissan 5772, established a protest tent in that area.

Residents explain they purchased the building and the acquisition is legal beyond the shadow of a doubt, yet they were evicted by the defense ministry due to his political agenda.

After the eviction of the 15 families, security forces sealed the building, explaining once the judicial system has its say, the building will be reopened to the residents should the legal authorities rule in their favor.

Tens of thousands of visitors are expected to visit the city during Chol Hamoed Pesach and security forces will be out in force to ensure the yomtov passes without incident.
