Statement By Senator Felder Regarding Developments In Stark Murder Case

stark“I am encouraged by today’s New York Daily News report that the NYPD has found the van used in connection with the kidnapping and murder of Menachem Stark.

The NYPD and other law enforcement personnel are to be commended for their tireless efforts in this case. The police and federal authorities have made solving this murder a top priority from the beginning. While Mr. Stark’s murderer(s) remain at large, the recent developments seem very promising. I am cautiously optimistic that the discovery of the van will prove to be a turning point in the case, and will ultimately lead police to the perpetrator(s) responsible for this vile and heinous act.

As always, my thoughts and prayers remain with the Stark family during this excruciatingly painful time.”

  1. I live abroad, and did not know this “Kodosh” that was killed in cold blood personally, still I spent much time calling friends in USA asking them for their opinion on this tragic matter, I must say that I was shocked and pained by their answers!!! basically what they said in one way or another is: that “he deserved it” etc, Chas VeSholom to say so about another fellow Yid.

How can it be: that we have No sympathy for his family who are shattered into millions of pieces!!! and will be for… HOW INSENSITIVE can we be? The only thing that bothers my friends is the front page of the NY Post, how low have we stooped Klall Yisroel? Why is there such a lack of Achudus by us?

…AND WE STILL WONDER WHY MOSHIACH IS NOT COMING TO REDEEM US.

Please I beg you my dear fellow Yidden: lets hold hands do Teshuva, once again reunite to be worthy of the Geula.

  2. I agree!
Even if some of the allegations are true (and they are still really quite uncertain) he certainly didn’t deserve a “death penalty”!

And his wife and 7 orphans definitely did not “deserve” it.

I think you need to find better friends…

  3. Not sure you have the right kind of friends….
We do need to do teshuva, but I don’t think your friends are the fair indicator.
