Avreichim in a number of cities in southern Israel turned to HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita to determine if they should leave the area due to the rocket fire. The gadol told them to remain where they are and be mispallel.

According to the Kikar Shabbos report, in his response to their question, Rav Chaim said that even those in the line of fire do not have to leave their homes but they should increase recitation of Tehillim. In addition the rav instructed those in safer areas to recite Tehillim as well.
