nitroA New Jersey roller coaster lost power partway up its 233-foot peak, forcing riders to walk down along the tracks to the ground.

The Nitro coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson was shut down after Friday afternoon’s outage. No one was hurt.

NBC New York reports park personnel climbed the ride’s access stairs and helped passengers to the ground.

The ride reopened less than an hour later after safety checks.
