The demand for construction workers in Israel continues to grow as the government has set the elimination of the nationwide housing shortage as a top priority. Towards expanding nationwide construction, six companies will be permitted to bring 1,000 construction workers each to contribute to Israel�s construction workforce.

According to the Ministry of Housing, no less than 50 foreign construction companies have submitted bids in the tender in the hope of being awarded a lucrative contract. The list includes companies from Russia, Greece, Turkey, China, Vietnam, Spain, the Ukraine and Portugal.
