Shas is feeling the pressure and the polls are not encouraging. Campaign strategists have decided to change direction and for now, posters for the election will show Aryeh Deri alone, without co-leader Eli Yishai. It appears the decision until today, to always show the leaders together to avoid conflict is not working, for it is resulting in confusion among supporters.
Deri will be appearing solo in election posters under the banner “The Comeback”, in the hope of gaining support for the party.
As such, some of the posters will include the trio, Deri, Yishai and Atias, while other adverts will show Deri and co-leaders solo. Atias will be billed “The housing revolution” to promote his successes as housing minister and Yishai will be the right-wing nationalist, seeking to gain right-wing votes.

1. Everyone knows the leader of Shas is R. Ovadiah Yosef.
2. Deri is the most popular leaders and the one who really annoys all the people Shas doesn’t like, who will then attack Deri, which will result in more votes for Shas – since most potential Shas votes find the anti-Deri crowd to be annoying.
Think SHAS is making an error, on the streets Yishai is more beloved by the people than Deri.
The big issue is Amnon Yitzchak is planning to run and Bayit Yehudi is getting stronger, these two are taking votes away from Shas (besides those who waver between LIKUD and Shas)
