Olmert Doesn’t Plan A Return To Politics

Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who served 16 months in prison on a corruption conviction, told Ynet that at present, a return to political life is not on his agenda.

It is reported that while in prison, he wrote a 900-page autobiography, which he insists “Doesn’t go easy on anyone”, including himself and his family. He adds that few have seen what he has in his life, and the book attests. He states the book documents his errors as well as his successes.

With doubt hanging over the current administration due to police investigations against Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Olmert’s interview pushes aside hopes for his supporters, many believing he would decide to return to the political arena.
