“I will not permit anyone to harm the Torah world that was built following the Holocaust but they must share the burden too…Torah study is essential towards the future of the nation too.”
Bennett stated that the 19th Knesset has 47 rookies MKs and this means for a first time there is a large group not bound by previous commitments to the vote-getters, labor unions, tycoons or others and therefore, there is a potential for unprecedented achievement.

But being very doctinaire and rigid, he doesn’t admit to the possibility that other Jews disagree with him on halacha, and is therefore supporting Lapid who believes that anyone who disagrees with the idea that the founding of the State of Israel was a mitzvah should be thrown into prison or exiled.
A frum fanatic with the power to imprison those he disagrees with is very dangerous, especially to other frum Jews. Imagine the infamous Lubavitch-Satmar disputes, if they could kil each to express displeasure.
