End of Winter Driving Regulations

Tuesday, April 1st, marks the start of spring for motor vehicular law, bringing and end to winter driving regulations.

This means motorists traveling on inter-city roads (highways) are no longer compelled to use headlights during the daylight hours.

Two-wheeled vehicles, buses and trucks are however compelled to drive with their lights on at all times.

Transportation Ministry officials add that even during summer months, motorists must turn on headlights during the day is weather conditions demand.
