Border police bomb squad technicians neutralized a pipe bomb found near the Kalandia Crossing, which borders northern Jerusalem and the PA (Palestinian Authority) area of Kalandia.

The vigilance of the policemen operating at the crossing detected a suspicious object to the side of the road on the Palestinian side of the crossing. They closed the crossing for a short time and the area to which border police sappers were called, and B’chasdei Hashem, they neutralized the bomb in a controlled explosion without incident.

The crossing then returned to full operation.
