Israel: Training Plane Approved for Return to Service

After receiving the preliminary findings of the investigation surrounding the fatal October crash (reported HERE on YWN) of an Israel Air force Fouga CM 170 Magister (IAF Zukit), air force commander Major-General Ido Nehushtan has given the green light for the twin engine planes to return to service.

As was reported shortly after the fatal crash, human error was the cause, not a malfunction in the plane. That said, it should be pointed out that the final report into the comprehensive investigation has not yet been prepared.
