The IDF on Monday released video footage showing an Israeli Air Force fighter jet narrowly evading an Iranian air defense missile during combat operations over Tehran.

In the cockpit audio accompanying the clip, a pilot can be heard calmly reporting, “There’s another launch, heading above the clouds,” as the aircraft maneuvers to avoid the incoming threat.

According to the IDF, the jet was participating in strike missions targeting sites in the Iranian capital at the time of the attempted intercept.

The IDF also disclosed that Israeli Air Force fighter jets have conducted more than 1,000 sorties over Iran since the start of hostilities.
