MANHATTAN: Antisemitic Protest Erupts Outside Park East Synagogue

Antisemitic protesters gathered outside Park East Synagogue in New York City, chanting slogans including “Death to the IDF,” “It is right to resist, Israel should not exist,” and “We don’t want no two states, we remember ‘48.”

Demonstrators said they were targeting an Israel real estate event at the synagogue. The event’s website invited participants to “explore the best Anglo neighborhoods to find your dream home,” including areas such as Gush Etzion, though it did not explicitly advertise land sales.

Chants of “Settlers, settlers go back home, Palestine is ours alone,” and “There is only one solution, Intifada revolution,” were also heard. Video from the scene showed confrontations between protesters and Israel supporters, as well as clashes with police near barricades. In one instance, a PAL-Awda activist was seen harassing individuals holding Israeli flags. Palestinian flags were widely visible, and a Hezbollah flag was also spotted among the crowd.

One protester waved a large Hezbollah flag, and another wore a yellow bucket hat with the word “Hezbollah” written on it. A demonstrator ripped a “Messiah is here” poster with a photo of the Lubavitcher Rebbe off a traffic signal box and threw it in the trash.

Police kept approximately 100 protesters about half a block away from the synagogue entrance as tensions escalated.

The protest was organized by PAL-Awda, which previously demonstrated at the same location during a Nefesh b’Nefesh event.

The office of Zohran Mamdani issued a statement opposing the event. “Mayor Mamdani is deeply opposed to the real estate expo this evening that includes the promotion of the sale of land in settlements in the Occupied West Bank,” mayoral spokesperson Sam Raskin said. “These settlements are illegal under international law and deeply tied to the ongoing displacement of Palestinians.”

Raskin added, “Our administration has also been clear that we are committed to ensuring safe entry and exit from any house of worship, and that such access never be in question while all protesters are able to exercise their First Amendment rights.”

  1. In the video here “Clashes and STAND OFF”, one can see the Neturei KKK, otherwise known as Neturei Karta, joining forces with their Muslim terrorist brothers to harass and threaten NYC Jews who may be trying to observe the Torah commandment of “yishuv Eretz Yisrael”.

The time is long overdue for all decent Orthodox Jewish communities to completely expel these Neturei KKK Muslims, who masquerade as religious Jews, from our communities.

  2. Anti-Zionism: A Facade Used to Erase Torah and Sanitize Jew Hatred

Both secular Zionism and radical Neturei Karta-Satmarism represent anti-Torah Reform movements.

“Anti-Zionism” is a fake facade exploited by Neturei Karta-radical Satmars, Atheist Leftists, and Muslim jihadists to conceal their war against the Torah and against the Jews.

Neturei Karta’s notion of a “divinely-ordained exile” from Eretz Yisrael is a new form of Reform non-Judaism.

The greatest rabbis all ruled that there is a continuing mitzvah of “yishuv Eretz Yisrael”.

“שהכל מעלין לא”י ואין הכל מוציאין משם הכל מעלין לירושלים ואין הכל מוציאין
Anyone may initiate ascent to Eretz Yisrael, and no one may compel departure; anyone may initiate ascent to Jerusalem, and no one may compel departure. ”
    (Shulchan Aruch, Evan HaEzer 75:4)

  3. Great; the UN and the “International Community” should see that the Arabs do NOT want a “2-state solution”! As Abba Eban said; every nation is entitled to their own land, except the Jews – we have a word for this: Anti-Semitism!

  4. “These settlements are illegal under international law and deeply tied to the ongoing displacement of Palestinians.”
Wow. I didn’t know Mamdani is an international law scholar. Didn’t know Bowdoin College specializes in this field.
Islamophobia has no place in our City.

  5. Mamdani is not going to step in when things get violent. I suggest they start only advertising the event quietly on places like Telegram because next time may not be so lucky
