IN RESPONSE TO DRAFT DECREE: Dushinsky Rebbe Orders Round-The-Clock Learning In Yeshivos

In response to the ongoing challenges facing Klal Yisrael and the continued threat of the draft decree targeting bnei yeshiva, the Dushinsky Rebbe has instructed the yeshivos of the chassidus to maintain uninterrupted Torah learning from 6:00 a.m. until midnight each day.

The directive was issued during remarks the Rebbe delivered to bochurim ahead of Yom Kippur Katan last week. Speaking about the difficult situation in Eretz Yisrael and the gezeiras hagiyus, the Rebbe urged the bochurim to strengthen themselves through increased Torah learning, emphasizing that such challenges are meant to inspire greater dedication to limud haTorah.

“The Ribono Shel Olam is awakening us through these trials in order to increase Torah learning,” the Rebbe told the bochurim.

He instructed that continuous learning shifts be established in every yeshiva of the chassidus, ensuring that the beis medrash remains filled with Torah from 6:00 each morning until midnight without interruption.

Following the Rebbe’s call, bochurim throughout the Dushinsky yeshivos signed up for at least one uninterrupted hour of learning, creating a continuous schedule of Torah study throughout the day.

Members of the chassidus describe an uplifting atmosphere in the batei medrash, where the sound of Torah learning now continues without pause from early morning until late at night.
