Following the recent visit of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to Turkey, Turkish President Abdullah Gul has agreed to deliver a message from the White House to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad when the two meet on Tuesday.

Despite Turkey’s membership in NATO and application to join the EU, in addition to its good ties with Israel and the West, it still maintains good relations with Iran and America hopes these good ties can be used to open a channel of dialogue and advance the agenda of the new administration.
