Ichud Hatzalah EMTs on Friday morning received a call for a man down on a bus at the  intersection of Shmuel HaNavi and Bar Ilan Streets in Yerushalayim. According to EMT Shlomo Cohen, they arrived to find a man in his 60s in cardiac arrest. They began CPR which changed over to advanced life support when MDA paramedics arrived on the scene. Resuscitation efforts continued for over an hour, but they were unsuccessful and the victim was pronounced dead.

The victim has been identified as a Ramot resident, Binyomin Itzkowitz z”l, who was on his way to spend shabbos with his sons in Netivot. Baruch Dayan HaEmmes.
