Iran announced it is halting attacks on Israel, but warned that any continued Israeli “aggression” — including military operations in southern Lebanon — would trigger a much harsher response.

In a statement carried by Iranian media, Khatam al-Anbiya, Iran’s emergency military command, declared that the “cessation of armed forces operations is announced,” while threatening that “much more severe and crushing measures than before” would follow if Israeli actions continue.
