New York City Comptroller John Liu who�s running for mayor says he�s fed up with the three-year investigation into his campaign fund-raising.

During a mayoral forum Thursday, Liu demanded investigators to �put up or shut up already because I�ve got an election to win.�

He asked what investigators had to show after interrogating thousands of his supporters and wire-tapping his phones for 18 months.

He said despite his record �there are still whispers about this cloud hanging over my head.�

He made the remarks during his closing statement.

The investigation goes back to 2009. His former campaign treasurer and a fundraiser are charged with conspiring to use straw donors to evade campaign finance laws. Both defendants have pleaded not guilty. Their trial is set for April 15.
