The Township Committee and the Board of Education have reached a compromise on the defeated school budget, Committeeman Raymond G. Coles confirmed this afternoon.The compromise is expected to be made official at Thursday night’s committee meeting. Coles could not release details, but said the committee will make an unspecified number of cuts in the district’s $108 million budget…………”I’m glad that we can get through this without having major disagreements between the two bodies,” Coles said. “But I’m still extremely concerned at the overwhelming number of people who voted against this budget.”Thursday’s committee meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 231 Third St.
