INN: The Office of the IDF announced a short time ago that the �quiet channel� will be operating on Shabbos in northern areas. One can tune into the channel before Shabbos, which will then cease broadcasting and will only activate in the event of a national emergency. The stations available according to the IDF are 98.5 (Haifa area), 95.7 (Tzfat and surrounding area), 95.2 (Carmiel) and 100.2 (Tiberias).
