Rav Gershon Shtemer ZATZAL was Niftar this morning in Yerushalayim at the age of 82. He was one of the heads of the Eida Hachareidis. This sad news�comes on the heels of the news of the passing of Rav Yosef Sheinberger ZATZAL who was also one of the heads of the Eidah; just two weeks ago. I met Rav Shtemer many years ago when I brought something to him from my local Rav. I took my boys with me so they could see a Tzaddik. Rav Shtemer graciously received them, and asked them questions about their learning. He was a very unassuming man, but one could feel his kedushah just being in his presence.
He should be a meilitz yashar for all of Klal Yisroel.
