WATCH: Son Of Naroler Rebbe BLASTS Yeshivas For Not Accepting Children

HaRav Osher Shapiro, the son of the Naroler (נראול) Rebbe Shlita, is a known figure in the Stamford Hill area of London. Rav Shapiro is a true educator, with over 17 years of experience in the field in the hope of bringing youths who left the derech back to the correct Torah path. He has established an organization called Kol Bonaich (‘קול בונייך’) towards meeting the challenges involved in working with these youths, an organization backed by Gedolei Yisrael Shlita.

  1. I listened to his speech I agree that there is problem, however instead of criticizing the rosh hashivas and threatening to terrorizing them by “calling them in the middle of the night” how about he should open a Yeshiva and accept everyone that was rejected.
    Of course not Cheap talk…
This is not a true leader…

  2. #2: Mr. Rechnitz made a similar speech last year in Lakewood and nobody asked him to open a yeshiva. I am sure Reb Osher would try to open a yeshiva in London if he knew that the US parents would send their children there.

  3. #2 100% right. There are good reasons why the yeshivos and schools/seminaries would not accept or throw out students (including Bais Sara) in the US and Israel.

  4. This reminds me of a story when a rosh yeshiva went to the satmer rov reb yoel and told him that he is kicking out a bochur from yeshiva. Reb yoel told him that Hashem wants this boy in yeshiva but it’s not so clear whether he wants you to be a rosh yeshiva so maybe you should leave before you kick him out. We should wake up and see the truth before its too late.

  5. There was a student thrown out Yeshiva, because that student was Shlepping other kids off the Derech. The Hanhola had to put a stop to this.

BH this caused that the other students remained Frum and intact.

What would Rabbi Shapira suggest be done to that one student? Which Yeshiva should accept that student?

  6. Acctually he offered no takers
But there is a growing yeshivah movement for normal frum people. Great buildings and yeshivas giving real education whether limudia kodesh or English
