Autism Website to Feature Ground-Breaking Technology

aut.jpgThe International Center for Autism Research & Education (Icare4autism) has launched its new online presence, announced Icare founder and director, Joshua Weinstein.  The URL remains www.icare4autism.org.

Icare4autism is a non-profit organization that serves as a clearinghouse for all information related to autism, including research, development, therapies and news. Created in 2004, they are dedicated to fostering collaboration among similar groups, with an end goal of finding the root cause and bettering therapeutic options for the afflicted.

The new website features enhanced functionality, an eye catching design, a larger repository of news and autism-related developments, and tools to encourage global collaboration among scientists, parents, and interested parties.

The organization is also in the final stages of developing its subscription-based iCAP platform, a databank with worldwide research and analyses from leading autism experts in dozens of languages.  The site debut comes several months in advance of Icare4autism’s 2010 worldwide symposium, to be held in Jerusalem in February.
“Icare4autism.org is the first step in creating an open forum where researchers, educators and families can communicate and inform each other about the latest data on autism,” explains Joshua Weinstein.  “Through our new website, we hope to turn information into action and grow the autism community internationally.
