A bungalow was saved from what could have been a big fire, thanks to the fast response by the Liberty Fire Department. Sources tell YWN Catskills that the fire started in a kitchen at the Lipkowitz Bungalow Colony, located on Harris Road (CR-174) in the town of Ferndale, Friday afternoon. Catskills Hatzolah was on the scene as well.
Thankfully, the damage was minimal, and there were no injuries reported.
