YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of Hagaon HaRav Shmuel Feivelson ZATZAL, Rosh Yeshiva Bais Medrash L’Torah of Monsey. He was 87-year-old, and was unwell for the past 15 years.
Rav Feivelson was one of the close Talmidim of Hagaon HaRav Aharon Kotler ZATZAL. He was a Gaon in learning and a tremendous Masmid and started his Yeshiva in Monsey around 30 years ago.

He was sent by R Aron Kotler in the 1960’s to open a Yeshiva in St Louis, MO and helped lay the groundwork for a Torah community today.
