With the Thanksgiving holiday weekend coming to a close, a good portion of the more than 42 million Americans who traveled for Thanksgiving are making their way home today.
With the weather cooperating, air travel should be easier than it was Wednesday, when rain slowed departures from area airports.
About 38 million travelers used the roads this holiday, so expect heavy traffic conditions as the day goes on.
Despite the number of travelers, today is not a gridlock alert day.
