In an official Israel Police Coastal District Independence Day 69 ceremony on Sunday morning 4 Iyar. Seret Vishnitz chossid Israel Police volunteer Chezi Farkash was promoted to the rank of Rav Pakad (Superintendent). Chezi is a resident of Haifa and is well known for the post he fulfills in Zaka, serving as the operations officer in the Northern District.

Farkash began his career as a police volunteer fourteen years ago, and in recent years he has become well-known to many due to his chareidi lifestyle.

The new ranks were placed on him by Coastal District Chief Deputy Commissioner Amos Yaakov, who has warm words for Ansel’s dedication; along with the Israel Police Rav of the Northern District Rabbi Anshel Friedman.
